Heather Alexander
Heather was born in Coco Beach, Fl, and her family
moved to the Green Bay area when she was just 6
years old. She started dancing with Barb's Centre For
Dance, and was a member of troupe, where she
competed in lyrical, ballet, jazz, and tap. In high school
she was a member and captain of the Preble Dance
Team. Heather graduated from the University of
Wisconsin-Madison, with a bachelor's in
Communications & English. Throughout this time, she
was a member of the dance team, and also ran the
MATC dance team and choreographed for UW-Green
Bay's dance team. Heather took college level
contemporary, tap, and jazz classes and was a member
of Danceworks and worked with the Reperatory
Theater in Milwaukee. She continued to teach dance
with the YMCA, and most recently was the competitive
tap and hip hop instructor for the Fox Cities Dance
Academy. Heather is Co-Coach for the East De Pere
Dance Team, and she also teaches Yoga, Pilates,
Zumba, and Kickboxing at Enzymatic Therapy and the
YMCA. In addition, Heather works as a Copywriter
and Marketing Planner for Baer Performance
Marketing. Her dream job was always to become a
Dance Teacher though, and she couldn't imagine doing
anything else!
